OK, so that's the best solution to shoot for.
Its something that other customers have asked for.
We already have these products:
- ByTheHour - standard for most bookings in Hourfleet already.
- ZeroCharge - for trial networks, where the operator wants to offer a no charge rental service.
Now, what we have to do is allow you to specify the products you support for a car, and then you can offer these products as the car owner.
There would be a relationship between the product you decide on and the availability and the costs that you would need to define for each product.
So, as a car owner we need to figure out how you specify a product, in terms of the availability and the costs associated with it.
Let's take each of your examples:
- Hourly: this is how Hourfleet already works (no minute rate)
- After Work: You would specify a start Hour and some End hour, and a fixed cost. We can assume late fees rules are the same.
- Day: this is how Hourfleet already works (no hourly or minute rate)
- Weekend: The same as After Work, with different schedule.
So, we can say that you can define one or more products, each that defines the following data:
* A StartDate (optional)
* An EndDate (optional)
* A Frequency to repeat (optional) (i.e. one-off (on a specific day of the week), once a day, once a week, once a month, once a year)
* A Fixed cost, or a cost perHour, perDay, perWeek, perMonth.
We can assume the late rules we already have.
Then when a customer looks for a car, they see the products available for it (i.e. Weekend, After Work etc.), and choose the product they want. Or they choose pay as you go (Minute Product), Or they choose another car.

Jezz Santos: The start hours and end hour in "After work" and "Weekend" need to be fixed and not optional, as this states the availability of the cars for the companies in the building.
If we talked about the best solution for us, it would be awesome to customize those depending of our clients from the operations page. Meaning that depending on which building the car is, the After work is 15-08 or 16-09 for car owners for example.
The frequency would be necessary to separate the weekdays from the weekends.
When the customer looks for a car, he/she would either look for the time they needs, thus showing the cars available or click on the car, select a time slot and get the price according to the price calculator depending on day/time.
Let me know if it's clear or we arrange a call :)
Thank you!

OK, Miriam Garcia Valencia so those products you identify (Hourly, AfterWork, Day and Weekend) are not yet supported in Hourfleet as specific products. Hourfleet really only exposes the 'ByTheMinute' product.
So if we decided to support your specific products, wouldn't that solve the problem? (better than the solution you suggest to workaround it)?

Jezz Santos: Yes! Definitely.

Hi Miriam Garcia Valencia, can we please discuss further what problem you are trying to solve here?
Estimated costs are displayed all over the place, and then used in many places in the App, for many things like: printing receipts and then used to calculate actual costs that go into the billing engine.
Can you tell me more about what you see is the problem your business has with these estimates, and we can figure out what is best to do for you here?

Jezz Santos: Hi Jezz, as for now we have four different prices:
Hourly: 79 (after 8hrs its charged the full day price)
After work: 499 (after 16 to 08 next day),
Day: 699 (24hrs can start any time)
Weekend: 899 (after 15hrs to 08 Monday)
Currently as HF doesn't support the prices we have and we have done billing manually to calculate the hours.
From the prices in the first picture attached, the one that doesn't match our business model is the weekly price. Could we delete or hide the weekly price?
And from the calculator, it doesn't not support our after work price (2nd picture attached) or the weekend price (3rd picture attached)
So, if it's not possible to change the price calculator to fit our prices and business model, our suggestion was just to hide it.
